NBA Fit Air 21 Run 2011

Do you know that Erik Spoelstra or better known as Coach SPO, the NBA FIT Ambassador to the Philippines and the Miami Heat Head Coach is half-Filipino?  Oh no….Ako nalang pala ang hindi nakakaalam (boo me!)

But hey, it’s okay because Coach SPO will be visiting again not only his mother’s hometown (I guess), San Pablo, but he will grace and take part in the upcoming Runrio Series Manila Leg 5: NBA Fit Air 21 Run on Aug 7, 2011 at the Bonifacio Global City.  NBA Fit together with Air 21 partnered with Runrio to organize this very prestigious event in which you can choose to participate among these categories: 3k, 5k, 10k and 21k.

Not only I believe in their cause to promote healthy lifestyle and wellness but also the program they undertake that encourages physical activity and healthy living in children and their families to fight obesity. Don’t you think that’s really cool?

Mommy Milkshake Run 2011

It’s been months since my last blog post.  I would like to start with my first official fun run, Mommy Milkshake Marathon on its second year which happened sometime August of 2008.

Since I support breastfeeding and I advocate it, last week I registered Ryu and myself to Mommy Milkshake Year 5 which is slated on August 14, 2011 at the Bonifacio Global City .  It’s a yearly lifestyle event organized by mommymundo for the month of Breastfeeding.  Hesitant though if Ryu will be able to finish a 3K run/walk event without riding the stroller.
